PostWed Oct 01, 2008 1:18 pm    All Time Favorite Movie

What movie have you watched repeatedly?
What movie do you really, really like?
I can think of several movies that I've seen dozens of times, but can't choose yet which is the favorite, so I'll reply later, but I'm just curious about what kind of movies others really like.

If we could keep this away from ST or SW, that'd be great, but if your favorite is one of those, then by all means go for it.

Hidalgo will always be a winner in my mind, but The Dark Knight comes a close second.

The one movie I never get tired of watching is Closer.

This is really hard. I'm going to have to say Forest Gump, but there are several others that I love almost as much.

Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.

I like Sci-Fi.

Of course i got a few that come close to that and on some levels surpass it like Serenity, Iron Man and Independence day.

and thats only talking about the sci-fi ones.

I really love I Am Legend. I've seen it like 8 times. I just saw The Shawshank Redemption the other day though. That might surpass it. Only further viewings will tell. lol

The Sound of Music is probably my favorite movie. Also, Titanic seems to be a surprisingly enduring movie for me.

I agree with Dan that the LOTR trilogy is excellent, but I will have to wait a few more years before I can say it's one of my favorites.

I know it's so cheesy, but I'm still so into Titanic. I've seen it millions of times.
And Cruel in tentions, that movie also rocks!

I'm going to have to agree with The Sound of Music. I've watched it countless times, and it never gets old.

Mmmm...

My first one is Phantom of the Opera with Gerard Butler and Emmy Rossum. So great! Those who have seen your face draw back in fear. I am the mask you wear, it's me they hear. My spirit and your voice in one combine. The PHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANTOM of the Opera is there inside your mind.

I also liked the new Star Trek film, and I Am Legend. Rigoletto was also a very touching movie as well.

Revision:

it's a tie between the new star trek movie, the new transformers movie, and the others previously listed.
